Setting Up a New User Account on Mac

  1. Power On the Mac:
    • Press the power button to turn on your new Mac.
  2. Select Your Country or Region:
    • Choose your country or region from the list and click Continue.
  3. Choose Your Keyboard Layout:
    • Select your preferred keyboard layout and click Continue.
  4. Connect to Wi-Fi:
    • Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password to connect.
  5. Data & Privacy:
    • Read the Data & Privacy information and click Continue.
  6. Transfer Information:
    • Select Not Now and click Continue.
  7. Sign In with Your Apple ID:
    • Click on Set Up Later.
  8. Terms and Conditions:
    • Read and agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  9. Create a Computer Account:
    • Enter your full name and account name
    • Choose a strong password and provide a hint to help you remember it
    • Click Continue.
  10. Customize Settings:
    • Choose your preferences for Siri, Screen Time, and other settings as prompted.
  11. Complete Setup:
    • Follow the remaining prompts to finish the setup process. Your new user account will be created, and you'll be taken to the macOS desktop.
